The theme of December's wallpaper is Dongji Patjuk, a soup made of red beans and rice. Dongji is the winter solstice in December that marks the longest night and shortest day of the year. In Korea, people traditionally eat Patjuk because our ancestors believed that the color of red beans would drive away evil spirits and ward off bad luck. Until today, people enjoy the tradition of eating warm Patjuk on the longest night of the year.
